Giving Back....

So I got this email a few days ago from my friend Jen. She is doing a give-away session and asked if I wanted to be a part of. Of course I said yes!!! So, If your are interested or want to nominate someone, you can email her or leave a comment here and I will relay them all back to her. This should be really fun!! I am flattered and really happy to be a part of this,
Here is what she sent me and what is on her blog...

For a while now I've wanted to give away a free session with copyright to someone who really needs it. The best part is we're not just giving away one photo shoot, we're giving away NINE photoshoots! Maybe more....I have 8 other amazing photographers who are also wanting to give of their time and talent.
We're looking for people who are truly deserving and in need of documenting their life through photos. For example, families with ill children or parents that don't have extra money, but would love to have professional photos and keepsakes of what may not come tomorrow. A single mom struggling to make ends meet, a family who has no income because of this crazy economy...we know there is a great need, we just need to find you! :)
Please nominate yourself, a family member, or a friend, who you feel is in need of this service. Email me their/your story, where they live and why you think they deserve this. All nominations must be in by JUNE 7th, 2009. We will do our best to meet the needs of all those who are need. We have photographers in or traveling to; Utah, Arizona, Las Vegas, and Oregon.

The 'Chase' Family...

These kids have got to be my all time favorite kids to photograph of all time!! I have shot little Alyvia before and couldn't wait to see her baby sister last year when she was in her momma's belly. Alyvia is such a crack up! Her facial expression kill me! And little Lily is as cute as ever and I had such a great time photographing this awesome family. Thanks guys!!!!

A little secret....

As most of you know, I have a new website. Well semi new- I changed it a few months ago.. Well my last one, anyone was able to view any of my past sessions which were still online. I have been told by so many people that they loved this. It gives clients a better idea of what a typical session includes and gives ideas as to what to do for their sessions as well. Well, my new site requires a password to enter all my sessions. So I have decided to do something a little different.
All of my session passwords are always going to be the clients last name. (All lower case letters) So It will be posted in my blog post of the session the password to see their entire session ( with the o.k. of the clients of course) The password will be in the post title in ' ' . So for instance notice my last post of the mecham Family.. The word 'mecham' would be the password to thier event. Clear as crystal? Great! Let me know if you like this or not. I appriciate the feedback!

For my good friend Shandy and her awesome little family. We had a little trouble at first with all the wind at the lake, so we had to move locations but it was alright cuz it turned out great. Her kids are adorable. And a huge thank you to Stan for putting up with all my junk (aka.. The big hefty, awesome blue couch!) and to Kenz for helping me on this shoot!
So yes, the debut of my lastest treasure.. The vintage blue couch! I love it and I have to say it looks pretty killer in the orchard!! I am glad we drug it along.

The Kropf's...

Nicol has been for good friend for a long time. She has 5 boys! Yes 5 boys! A handful, you know. I have 3 and I often wonder how I cope. But she is a beyond amazing mom with the best little boys. It was fun to get to know each one of them. I love this family!
