Seniors, Seniors, Seniors!

As the weather turns warmer, ( yeah I am so excited!) I think about my favorite time of year. Senior season! Well, and Summer!!
But,.. Now is the time to get your senior portrait session booked. Senior sessions fill up fast and this year I am only taking a certain amount of senior clients. And by Senior clients I mean, High school Seniors. (yes, I have been asked if I photograph the elderly :) :) )
So what does that mean? You need to call or email me and set up your senior session!! This year I am offering awesome packages with everything you will need out of your session. Have you checked out the super cool albums??Click here
And.. If you book your senior session before Feb. 26th, I will throw in a free 5x7 desk portrait to your package!
Oh and one more thing, if you know any of my Senior reps, grab a card from them which will be good for another $20 off!! Contact me if you want to get their info. :)
- Since this image you cant see very well, you can see it larger here.

Check it out...

Well I must say I am a little lagging when it comes to my little photo blog these days. This time of year is hard. Well,.. hard for me at least. I hate the cold weather and just wish it would warm up again so my motivation would return. Any ones else feel my pain? It was wonderful to have some time off and really be able to spend time with my family over the holidays. I lOVED it! I shot a little here and there and it was just right. I also wanted to say thank you to all my wonderful clients who have been so understanding when I told you I wasn't shooting in December. Everyone was great.
Last year was wonderful. I met so many new people and got to catch up with returning clients as well. I am looking forward to meeting new people this year and also seeing my past clients again. Alot of great things happened through the year. I have learned so much with each shoot. I am also excited to announce that I got elected onto the board of Directors of the IPPA. (even through i feel hardly qualified..) I am excited to be in the group of such great photographers and hope to learn from them. I know I will.:)
I have some new ideas for my awesome seniors this year. ( I love to shoot seniors!) I will be posting my new packages and new products soon. If you are wanting to get senior portraits done now is the time to book them!!
But the real reason for this post is this..
I am always trying to continue my photography education. - You never can get to that point of .. "Well I know it all, now what?!" So,.. on February 22nd I will be at a great seminar of the talented Travis Gugleman. I am so excited to hear him speak and LEARN from him. It is an all day seminar (9a.m. to 5p.m) So that means tons of info!!! I welcome all up and coming photographers and advanced photographers to attend. It will be awesome! Here is a link to his site/blog to see some of his work. CLICK HERE
The cost is $65 ( if you are a IPPA member) That includes a delicious catered Lunch as well. YUM!
The IPPA is a great organization that has helped me so much in my business. If anyone is interested in joining you can go to the IPPA website or just ask!
And since I cant have a post with out a image.. Here is a cute little guy I have been working on...
